Auricles and Blood Distribution

• Auricles receive blood from veins.
• Oxygenated blood enters auricle via pulmonary veins and left ventricle.
• The aorta pumps the aorta to the body.
• Deoxygenated blood enters right auricle via main vein and right ventricles.
• The pulmonary artery transports deoxygenated blood to the lungs for purification.
• Re-oxygenation occurs where deoxygenated blood is oxygenated in the lung and returned to the heart.
• Oxygenated blood is distributed throughout the body.
